    Communication is a key to any class. Under this section, you may find current and archived news and newsletters, upcoming events and important dates.


    September:

    Welcome back to school!  If you have any questions regarding 8th grade, please feel free to contact me.

    Look for a parent questionnaire to come home during you son/daughter's birthday month to assist me in preparing for his/her CSE meeting.

    October:


    November:

    Report cards come home mid-month.


     

    January:

    Please sign your son/daughter's midterm postcard from me.  The flashcards I gave them should stay at home to study from.

    Midterms:   SS on Tuesday, Science on Wednesday, Spanish on Thursday.  If students don't take Spanish, they will not be required to come to school that day.


    February:

    Report cards will be sent early this month.

    April:

    ELA State test: Please see that your son/daughter gets enough sleep and has a good breakfast during these 3 days of testing.

    Skills Competition: We will be going to BOCES in Williamson to compete! This event gives 8th graders a chance to see what programs are available to them when they are in 11th and 12th grades.

    Report cards will be sent mid-month!

    May:

    Math State test: Please see that your son/daughter gets enough sleep and has a good breakfast during these 3 days of testing.

    Science Exploration Days:  We are going to St. John Fisher College to learn about several different science topics.


    June:


    Science State test: Please see that your son/daughter gets enough sleep and has a good breakfast during this days of testing.

    Final exams will be later in the month.
