Class of 1982
Tim DiSanto was a three sport athlete playing football, basketball and baseball for Lyons Central School.
Tim was on the varsity football team his junior and senior years. As a senior, he was named to 2nd Team Finger Lakes West as a guard and to 1st Team as a linebacker.
Tim was a guard in basketball in his junior and senior years. During his junior year, the team was Wayne County Champions with a record of 23-1. They were also Section V Class B champs. Their only loss came in the first round of States. In Tim’s senior year, the team again was Wayne County Champions and Section V Class B champs with a record of 25-1. Their only loss was in state finals. Tim was MVP of the Waterloo Tip-Off Tournament and the team co-MVP and assist leaders with 11 ppg. He was named to the Section V Class B All-Tournament Team and the NYS Class C All-Tournament Team.
Tim finished his career at Lyons playing baseball. His junior year he was a pitcher and played 3rd base. His senior year, he pitched and played the infield. He was named to the Wayne County 1st Team All-League as a 2nd basemen. Tim was named 1982 Co-Senior Male Athlete of the Year.
After high school, he played basketball at Cayuga Community College. He earned degrees from CCC, Nazareth, Brockport and Oswego. He has coached baseball and basketball at Harley-Allendale Columbia, East Rochester, Midlakes, Victor, Keuka College and RIT. Tim was named Finger Lake East Coach of the Year in 2004 while coaching at Victor.
Tim currently lives in Victor and teaches Special Education at Victor Primary School. He was married for 24 years to his wonderful wife Julie and is the proud father of sons TJ and Jacob and daughter Lauren.
