It is with great honor and pleasure that I begin serving as the superintendent of the Lyons Central School District. As I look back to when I started my career in Lyons over twenty years ago, I remember noticing the sincere sense of pride our community had in the school district. Upon returning, I have been welcomed by that same community, one that has rallied around its students and families during this unique time. It is the strength of our community that will allow us to move forward from a school year that didn’t resemble any we have experienced in the past, revitalized and improved.
Our goal at Lyons is to prepare our students for life-long success. We know that they are individuals, and success looks different for each student. Our commitment is not only to our children during their time in our schools, but also to preparing them for who they will be when they graduate from our school community. Our dedication to cultivating an environment that will help our students become their best selves will ensure our community thrives.
Lastly, it is great to be back in-person with our students and staff. The dedication our staff has shown to ensure students are able to participate via in-person instruction has been incredible, and we see the effects through the joy on our students as they enter the buildings each day. I am proud to have the opportunity to be a part of this community dedicated to the growth and success of our students.
