Field Days are a beloved Lyons Elementary tradition, bringing students together for a day of fun, teamwork, and friendly competition. Seniors recently shared their post-graduation plans during the Senior Showcase, giving underclassmen an opportunity to learn about a variety of college, career, and workforce pathways. The event highlighted the many directions our graduates are taking as they prepare for their next chapter.













Students in our Leadership and Advanced Leadership classes were recognized at the annual Leadership Banquet for their outstanding work in the classroom and their contributions to our school and local community. The evening featured guest speaker and Lyons alumnus Krista Jackson, whose organization has partnered closely with our Leadership students on service and fundraising efforts. A special highlight of the evening was a heartfelt tribute from the senior class to their teacher, Erica Gansz, thanking her for her guidance, support, and leadership as they prepare for their next chapter. A special highlight of High School Moving Up Day was the surprise announcement of this year's Yearbook Dedication recipient, Don Miller. Chosen by the senior class, Don was recognized for the lasting impact he has made on students throughout their time at Lyons.






Our talented elementary band students recently participated in the Elementary Honor Band Festival in Solvay, joining young musicians from across the region for a day of learning, collaboration, and performance. We are proud of the dedication and musical excellence they demonstrated while representing Lyons.

The Board of Education recently recognized several retiring staff members for their years of dedication and service to Lyons CSD. We thank them for their lasting impact on our students and school community and wish them all the best in retirement.
