The annual Lyons vs. Clyde-Savannah staff basketball game delivered another great night of competition, with packed stands and students coaching from the sidelines. It was a close, hard-fought game that came down to the wire. While Lyons didn’t take the win this year, the energy, rivalry, and tradition were on full display. We’ll be back next year ready to reclaim the title. Check out more photos here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1YuLMae0XuOPltBYWfrd7UWlQOL5K-xHE?usp=sharing

Our Elementary School Music Showcase was filled with incredible talent and bravery as students performed solos, band pieces, and chorus selections. Great job to Mrs. Barrigar and Ms. Williams for preparing such a wonderful show. We are so proud of our young performers. More photos: https://www.lyonscsd.org/page/performing-arts

Lyons' 4th-grade travel team and varsity players came together after practice for pizza, snacks, and time on the court to kick off the week as the Varsity team prepares for the state tournament this weekend. Moments like these are what make Lyons special. It doesn’t matter what level you’re at, elementary or varsity, we are all part of the same team. Once a Lion, always a Lion.

Mr. Beveridge’s 11th-grade English class is bringing The Crucible to life as students prepare to step into their roles and act out scenes from the play. Through performance and collaboration, they’re diving deeper into the characters, themes, and intensity of this classic work.

Ms. Petty’s UPK classroom was full of energy and creativity during center time as students explored hands-on learning and teamwork. A special highlight was a basketball-themed center where students designed and created signs to cheer on the Lyons Boys Varsity Basketball team as they head to states. Our youngest learners are already showing what it means to support their community. Go Lions!
