September AOTM

Cheerleading - Mya Rosales

Mya consistently gives her best effort, puts in the work, and it truly shows. She comes to practice ready to learn, improve, and push herself, and her dedication has not gone unnoticed.

Mya also brings such great energy to the sideline. Her positive attitude, enthusiasm, and willingness to work hard make her a wonderful teammate.

Golf - Bryce McDonald

Bryce has led the Lyons Golf team to their best start in over 12 years with an 8-1 record to begin the season.  He’s been a strong role model for our younger players, teaching them golf and life lessons along the way.

Tennis - Alonnah Carter

Alonnah has improved immensely throughout the year and is working very hard.  She asks many questions and is always working to improve.

Football - Brayden Kitchen

In his first year at quarterback, Brayden has already eclipsed 1,000 yards in the air and thrown 24 touchdown passes, helping lead the Lions to a 4-1 record.

Volleyball - Ja'Niyah Bell

Ja’Niyah has had massive success this season so far. She has totaled 101 kills, 22 aces, and 15 blocks. She is confident, works hard, and always asks for feedback to improve.  Even more impressive than her offensive output has been how she has flourished as a captain. Ja'Niyah sits on the bench during every JV match, cheering on and inspiring other players to improve and do their best. Great job, Ny!

Cross country - Aidan Peters

Aidan Peters has overcome knee issues and continues to improve his time throughout the season.
