This Week in Photos: January 19-23, 2026
Lyons Central School District welcomed schools from across Wayne County to the Earl Buchanan Auditorium at the Middle/High School for the Vocal All-County weekend. Students are rehearsing today and tomorrow in preparation for their concert on Saturday at 2:00 pm, which will be streamed live on Facebook.










Elementary students are stacking up the fun in PE as they dive into their new sport stacking unit. Through speed, coordination, and teamwork, students are building hand-eye coordination, focus, and problem-solving skills one stack at a time.










Elementary teachers, administrators, and coaches meet regularly to collaborate and reflect on student learning. By using data to drive their decisions and applying research-based, specific strategies, teams work together to plan purposeful next steps that support effective teaching and continued student growth.



First graders in Mr. Askin’s class are hard at work practicing their letters. Through hands-on activities and focused practice, students are strengthening their letter recognition, formation, and early writing skills as they build a strong foundation for reading and learning.









Once again, seniors in Mr. Carr’s FLCC Government class impressed with their final projects, exploring activist movements and their lasting impact on American society. Through thoughtful research, creative presentations, and confident public speaking, students showcased their hard work while building essential communication, critical thinking, and advocacy skills.
