This Week In Photos: April 20 - 24, 2026
Lyons Leadership Class brought their passion projects to life this week, creating events that made a real impact. Students worked in groups to plan and lead initiatives that mattered to them, including a youth sports clinic hosted by our varsity athletes, a free Clothing Pop-Up Shop for students and community members, and a Build-a-Lion experience for our Little Lions. Each event was a success and a great example of students giving back and strengthening our community.

Lyons Elementary students came together for their second Buddy Day, partnering as “young scientists.” Older and younger students explored science topics, read together, and completed simple experiments while sharing ideas and recording observations.

Ms. Linzy’s 5th-grade art students are working on self-portraits and animal drawings, focusing on detail, creativity, and expression. Each piece reflects their unique style as they build their skills and bring their ideas to life.

Mrs. James’ PE class took advantage of the beautiful weather, heading outside for a game of pickleball. Students stayed active, worked on their skills, and enjoyed some time in the sun together.

Lyons varsity track and field athletes competed at this week’s home meet, showcasing their hard work and determination. From sprints to field events, the team gave a strong effort across the board.
