This Week in Photos: May 4 - 8, 2026
Students in Mrs. Beckwith’s math class are exploring quadratic functions through hands-on learning and collaboration. From graphing parabolas to solving equations, our Lions are building confidence and strengthening their math skills each day!







Students in the L.Y.O.N.S. Afterschool Program partnered with the Lyons Public Library for a creative enrichment activity this week! Alongside Mrs. Bookmiller, students painted canvases that reflected their community and how they saw it through their unique perspectives.





Our modified track and field team gave it their all at their meet at Red Creek Central School District! From the track to the field events, our Lions showed determination, teamwork, and school pride while competing and supporting one another throughout the meet.




These students were all smiles while enjoying the baseball game together! From cheering on the team to posing for fun photos with friends, it was a great day making memories and showing school spirit.

Students spent time in the library reading, exploring books, and working with classmates. The library continues to be a great space for our Lions to learn, collaborate, and enjoy reading.





Students in the Lyons Leadership Class spent time with 1st graders during PE, helping create a fun and inclusive environment for everyone. Whether participating in activities or building with Legos alongside their younger peers, our student leaders showed kindness, teamwork, and support throughout the day.
