Yesterday’s Lyons vs. Newark Unified Basketball Game was a powerful display of skill, teamwork, and heart from our unified athletes and student spectators. The energy in the gym was unmatched, with our student body bringing incredible support and school spirit from start to finish.

The road to states runs through Lyons… and now to Binghamton.

We invite our entire community to come out and send the Varsity Boys Basketball team off today at 1:30 PM as they head to the NY State tournament this weekend. The team will begin with parade send-offs at both school buildings before receiving a full escort on their way out of town. Let’s line Route 14, make some noise, and show them what Lyons Pride is all about.

We couldn’t be prouder of the heart, teamwork, and pride they’ve shown all season. This team has felt your support every step of the way, and now it’s time to send them off in a way they’ll never forget.

NYS BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT UPDATE: Our Varsity Boys Basketball team has advanced in the NYS Class C State Tournament and will play Cooperstown on Saturday, March 21st, at Visions Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton, NY. The address for the Arena is 1 Stuart Street, Binghamton, NY 13901. The game will begin at 1:30 PM.

Congratulations to Braydon Dapolito on an outstanding performance, capturing the 285 lb Class B2 Sectional Championship. Christian Weber and Jayden Joseph also delivered great matches, each earning second-place finishes in their weight classes.
