A message from Zac Young, LCSD Athletic Director: Our girls Volleyball team has advanced to the Semi-Finals of the Class C2 tournament. They will play Letchworth at Newark High School on Tuesday, October 31st at 6:00PM.
Tickets for this game are CASHLESS. They must be purchased through the following link:

Our Varsity Volleyball team completed a 19-0 season and is seeded #2 in the Class C2 Sectional Tournament. Our team will compete on Friday, October 27th at 5:30 pm at the Lyons Community Center. The team will take on the winner of Campbell Savona and Geneseo. Admission to this event is FREE. A link to the bracket is found here: https://www.rochestervball.com/index.php/sectionals. Our Lyons/Sodus Football team has qualified for the Class C Federation Sectional Tournament as the #5 seed. Lyons/Sodus will travel to East Rochester to face the #4 seed East Rochester/Gananda Bombers on Friday, October 27th at 7pm. Admission for this event is $7.30 and can only be purchased digitally. Our Football team and Cheerleading squad celebrated Senior Night on Thursday, October 19th. Congrats to all of our seniors on a great final season! 📣🏈
A big week for Lyons athletics is taking place.
Wednesday (tonight) our Lyons/Newark soccer team takes on Geneva in a pre quarterfinal class A sectional game. The game starts at 6pm. Admission is $7.30 via the GoFan app. No cash admissions will take place.
Thursday: our Lyons/Sodus football team hosts Letchworth/Warsaw/Perry at 6pm. The winner will earn a home game in the class C sectional tournament. Senior night for football and our cheerleading team will take place at 5:30. Admission is Free!
Friday: our girls volleyball team takes on Gananda. This is the game of the regular season for our undefeated volleyball team. JV starts at 4:30 with Varsity starting at 6pm. Admission is free and senior night starts around 5:30pm.
Saturday: The Lyons Community Center will host the Wayne-Finger Lakes Gameday Cheerleading championship. Admission is $5 and the competition starts at 10am. Cash only!

Congrats to Darius Wood-Asberry who was named the Class C Offensive Player of the Week! Darius threw for 3 touchdowns and ran for two in the Lyons/Sodus win over Hornell.

Please join us in congratulating the Girls Varsity Tennis team on their continued accomplishments this season! Coach Boardman writes, "On Friday, the girls ended the regular season as Co-League Champs! On Saturday, three of them competed in individual Sectionals. Sam Figueroa and Baylei Reed are playing in the finals on Monday at 4pm at Pittsford Mendon HS and Emily Casalmir is playing in the playbacks. Sam and Baylei have qualified for State Qualifiers and Emily will if she wins on Monday! Be sure to wish the girls good luck on Monday to bring home another Doubles Championship to Lyons and all to qualify for State Qualifiers!"
The team also honored Seniors Emily and Maddie at their Senior Night last week, pictured. Congrats to all!
