The Feud is back! The Lyons Community Family Feud is back by popular demand on Wednesday, April 15th at 6:00 PM. Get ready for an evening full of laughs, friendly competition, and community spirit.
The reigning champions, Lyons National Bank, are back and ready to defend their title. While you will see some friendly faces from last year's event, we’re also excited to welcome the Glow Up Girls’ Board of Directors team to the stage. They stepped up and brought the energy, becoming the only community team to submit a video entry and earning their spot in this year’s competition! Stay tuned over the coming weeks to hear from each team!
Just like last year, individuals will have the chance to sign up at the door to be called onstage and join the action.
Enjoy food trucks, raffles, and more throughout the night. This year, we’re also adding a meaningful twist. Donations will be collected, and the winning team will select a charity to receive the proceeds.
Bring your family, bring your friends, and bring your Lyons Pride.

The road to states runs through Lyons… and now to Binghamton.
We invite our entire community to come out and send the Varsity Boys Basketball team off today at 1:30 PM as they head to the NY State tournament this weekend. The team will begin with parade send-offs at both school buildings before receiving a full escort on their way out of town. Let’s line Route 14, make some noise, and show them what Lyons Pride is all about.
We couldn’t be prouder of the heart, teamwork, and pride they’ve shown all season. This team has felt your support every step of the way, and now it’s time to send them off in a way they’ll never forget.
We are the #LYPride! Once a Lion, always Lion.

Music in Our Schools Month continues with a musical performance to remember.
This past weekend, our students took the stage for Sweeney Todd and delivered an incredible performance. From the powerful vocals to the detailed set and character work, every moment reflected the dedication, talent, and pride our students bring to the arts.
We are proud of our cast, crew, and staff for bringing this production to life and grateful to our community for supporting the arts in Lyons.
View photos from the musical and find more information on upcoming events, including this Thursday’s Music Showcase, on our Performing Arts page: https://www.lyonscsd.org/page/performing-arts

Then & Now: 1976 to 2026
50 years later, and some things never change.
Our students brought a piece of Lyons history back to life by recreating a 1976 class photo with the same pyramid pose, the same energy, and plenty of laughter along the way. What started as a fun moment became a reminder of the legacy that continues to live on in our halls every day.
Generations may pass, but the pride, connection, and spirit of Lyons remain just as strong.
Once a Lion, always a Lion.

Lyons CSD is proud to celebrate senior Avery Stone, who received the Superintendent’s Award this past Thursday alongside 26 seniors from neighboring school districts. Hosted by Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES, the evening brought students together with their families and superintendents to celebrate their achievements.
Keynote speaker and Lyons alumna Mrs. Taylor Youngs spoke about the strong foundation built in the communities we come from, reminding students that character, integrity, and the lessons learned right here at home will carry them further than prestige ever will.
Congratulations, Avery, on this well-deserved honor! Lyons is proud of you.
