At halftime of last night's varsity game against Sodus, the future of Lyons basketball was on full display as our Lyons Lions varsity team proudly recognized our youth basketball players. Thank you to our varsity athletes for being such positive role models and to our youth players for bringing the energy and excitement. Once a Lion, always a Lion!

Last night, we celebrated our Lyons Varsity Wrestling seniors at Senior Night! These student-athletes have shown dedication, resilience, and leadership on and off the mat, and we are grateful for everything they’ve given to the program.

Happy National Athletic Director Day!

Today, we celebrate Mr. Young for his dedication to Lyons CSD. In addition to serving as our Athletic Director, Mr. Young also supports our school community as the Assistant Principal at the MS/HS and the Boys Basketball Coach.

Mr. Young has served the district for nearly 15 years, and his leadership, commitment to students, and passion for education continue to make a meaningful impact. We are grateful for all he does for LCSD today and every day.

Our Lyons Varsity Volleyball team has advanced to the Class C2 Sectional tournament Sectional Finals and will play Bloomfield on Friday, November 7th, at Caledonia Mumford High School. Game time is 5:00 pm.


Tickets are available via the Go Fan app or by visiting https://gofan.co/app/school/NYSPHSAAV. The cost for each ticket is $7.30. Please search for Section V and then find the game.

Please have your ticket ready before attending the event. It is also helpful to download the GO FAN app to your phone and make purchases through it. NO CASH WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE DOOR.

Lyons Golf is celebrating a major milestone this season. The team earned its first winning record since 2013, finishing 6-5-1 and showcasing impressive teamwork, growth, and dedication on the course. Three team members also represented Lyons at the Wayne County Golf Championships at Sodus Bay Country Club: Bryce McDonald (Junior), Cole Burnett (Sophomore), and Jacob Bookmiller (Freshman).

BOYS BASKETBALL HEADS TO GLENS FALLS! Our boys basketball team has advanced to the NYS Class C State Final Four after defeating Randolph High School 61-44 last Friday. They will play Moravia out of Section IV on Friday, March 15th at 8:45 at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls, NY. The address for the Arena is 1 Civic Center Plaza, Glens Falls, NY 12801. Tickets are managed by the Cool Insuring Arena and are available on-site at the ticket window ($10) or online through SeatGeek (additional fees apply). No re-entry is permitted. All children 5 years of age or younger are free. They will play Randolph High School out of Section 6 on Friday, March 8th at 6:30pm. The address for the game is 1300 Elmwood Avenue Buffalo, NY 14222.
