Thanks to the Wayne County Community Endowment Grant and Greater Rochester Health Foundation, our 7th-grade FACS classroom now has a Hygiene Care Cart! This initiative provides students with essential hygiene products while teaching the importance of self-care and personal hygiene. This aligns with NYS curriculum for health education. Mrs. Brook’s art class goes beyond creating art; it spreads joy worldwide. Over 10 Lyons students participated in the Memory Project, connecting our student artists with children across the globe. Using their skills, these talented young artists personalized portraits, bringing smiles to children worldwide. 🚧Capital Project Update: After the water plant was demolished last year, the Capital Project has entered its next phase: upgrading the playgrounds at Lyons Elementary School! The student council members at Lyons Elementary, including Cooper Ehle, Reese Koller, Ella Prizel, and Wyatt Zulauf, played an important role by providing student input, and their designs have been incorporated into the project for both playgrounds.
