As graduation week begins, the Class of 2026 took time to reflect on the memories, friendships, and experiences that have shaped their journey at Lyons.

From the Moving Up Day ceremony and annual Senior Parade through the Elementary School to the Senior Luncheon filled with heartfelt staff messages, photo slideshows, yearbook signing, and more, Friday was a celebration of how far this class has come.

Thank you to the senior class advisors for creating a meaningful day of reflection and celebration as the Class of 2026 prepares to turn the page to its next chapter.

Lyons FFA members recently traveled to Buffalo to attend the New York State FFA Convention, where they showcased their knowledge and skills in two Career Development Events: Quiz Bowl and Marketing Plan.

The trip was highlighted by several accomplishments. Leeann Peeso received the Jacket Award, recognizing her as an outstanding new FFA member, while the Marketing Plan team earned State Finalist honors. Students also had the opportunity to connect with fellow FFA members and agricultural professionals from across New York, including Richard Ball (pictured).

Congratulations to our FFA members for representing Lyons with pride and excellence!

Join us for an evening of the Arts! Join us on Thursday, June 4th, at 7:00 PM at the Earl Buchanan Auditorium, Middle/High School, for a night celebrating creativity and talent at the annual MS/HS Chorus & Band Pops Concert and Art Show.

Our Varsity Softball team has advanced to the Semifinals in the Class C1 Sectional tournament with a win over Alexander. They will play Letchworth at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, May 27th, at Finger Lakes Community College.

Polls will be open from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM in the Earl Buchanan Auditorium Foyer. While you're there, stop by our Family Engagement Night from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. Community organizations, local resources, youth sports sign-ups, and family activities will all be available throughout the evening. We encourage all eligible community members to participate in the voting process and take time to connect with the many programs and opportunities that support our students and families.
