Last week’s Elementary Chorus Concert was a celebration of talent, creativity, and community! Our young musicians lit up the stage with their voices, while the halls showcased incredible artwork from our elementary artists as part of the Elementary Art Showcase. This past weekend, Ms. Gansz’s Advanced Leadership Class brought Lyons together in a big way with two incredible passion projects! 🏃‍♀️ The Lyons Leadership 5K had over 30 participants walking and running to support the Class of 2025! Huge thanks to Imprint Coffee and Rolling Stone Pizza for fueling our runners. 🥎 The first-ever Lyons Grandslam Giveback Softball Tournament was a home run! With 7 teams made up of LCSD staff, alumni, parents, and community members, students helped coach, and our varsity baseball and softball players stepped in to umpire and help with the event. Together, they raised over $2,000 for Golisano Children’s Hospital! Rylee Richardson (8th grade) reached an impressive 200 career strikeouts, showcasing her strength and consistency in the circle. Keira Weber (11th grade) hit an extraordinary 500 career strikeouts, a true testament to her dominance and dedication to the game.
